Grievance Redressal Committee
The Grievance Redressal Committee in our college provides a fair, transparent, and approachable platform for students to voice their concerns, complaints, and suggestions. Its primary purpose is to ensure that any issue—whether academic, administrative, or personal—is addressed promptly and justly, fostering a healthy and respectful campus environment where every individual feels valued and heard. The committee acts as a bridge between the college community and the administration, working tirelessly to resolve matters in a way that maintains harmony and mutual trust. Students can approach the committee with a wide range of concerns, from academic evaluation disputes and administrative delays to interpersonal misunderstandings or difficulties in accessing facilities. Every case is handled with complete confidentiality and impartiality, ensuring that no one faces discrimination or retaliation for raising a concern. The process is designed to be student-friendly: grievances can be submitted in writing, through email, or in person, and the committee meets regularly to review and address them. Beyond resolving issues, the committee plays a proactive role in preventing problems before they escalate by encouraging open dialogue, and suggesting improvements in institutional policies and processes. It also organizes awareness sessions to educate students about their rights, responsibilities, and the proper channels for lodging complaints. Members of the committee, who are drawn from both the teaching and non-teaching staff, are trained to handle sensitive matters with empathy, patience, and professionalism. The Grievance Redressal Committee believes that every concern—no matter how small—deserves attention, because even minor issues can affect a student’s overall well-being and academic performance. By maintaining an open-door policy and encouraging constructive communication, the committee helps build a culture where problems are not ignored but addressed collaboratively. Its work is guided by fairness, respect, and a genuine desire to make the college a better place for everyone.
