Internal Complaints Committee
The Internal Complaint Committee (ICC), also known as the Anti-Sexual Harassment Cell, is a statutory body in our college established to ensure a safe, respectful, and dignified environment for every student and staff member. Functioning under the guidelines of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition, and Redressal) Act, 2013, the ICC is committed to preventing and addressing any incidents of sexual harassment with sensitivity, fairness, and complete confidentiality. Its role is not only to respond to complaints but also to create a culture where harassment of any kind is unthinkable. The committee includes staff, and external members to ensure impartiality in all proceedings. Students can file complaints in person or through phone and all cases are handled promptly following due process. Beyond legal compliance, the committee focuses on prevention by promoting gender sensitivity, respect in interpersonal relationships, and the importance of consent. The committee reassures all students that coming forward with a complaint will never result in victim-blaming or retaliation, and that their safety, dignity, and well-being are the top priority. Through its proactive measures, empathetic approach, and commitment to justice, the ICC plays an essential role in ensuring that our college remains a safe space for learning and personal growth for everyone.
